The vote for the OMVF 2026 audience award has begun!

Voting for the OMVF audence award is now open, giving audiences the chance to vote for their favourite music video from all entries submitted to this year's Finnish Music Video Competition. A total of 252 Finnish music videos are competing for the award.
The public can vote for their favourite video at https://www.omvf.inertica.fi. Voting closes on Friday, 28 August 2025, at 18:00 (EEST). Voters can enter into a prize draw to win one of five annual subscriptions to Soundi magazine.
The winners of the Finnish Music Video Competition will be announced at the Pumpeli Awards Gala, taking place at RioLive on Saturday, 29 August. The gala will also feature the award ceremony for the inaugural OMVF European Music Video Competition.
Alongside the prestige of winning, directors in the Finnish competition are competing for the festival's main prize, the Golden Pumpeli, which includes a €3,001 gift voucher generously provided by Kinos Rentals. The Teen Pumpeli and a prize sponsored by Toast will be awarded to an emerging young director. The best ost-production gets a product prize from Valco, while the Lens Pumpeli for Best Cinematography comes with an equipment hire prize sponsored by Valofirma and Kamerafirma. In addition, the jury will present four Special Mentions, and the winner of the public vote will receive the People's Pumpeli Award.
The winners of the Finnish Competition will be selected by an independent jury comprising film critic and journalist Kalle Kinnunen, film producer and curator James Mackay, and film producer and curator Ida Karoskoski. The European Competition jury consists of artist, filmmaker and curator Ben Russell, curator Ksenia Kaverina, and architect, curator and researcher Kaisa Karvinen.
The Oulu Music Video Festival takes place from 27–30 August as part of the Oulu Festival Weeks.
