Voting for the Audience Award is now open!

The public can now vote for their favourite in the Finnish Music Video Competition. A total of 280 Finnish music videos are competing for the Audience Award

You can cast your vote at: https://www.omvf.inertica.fi. Voting is open until Saturday, 23 August 2025 at 14:00 (Finnish time). Everyone who votes will be entered into a draw to win one of five annual subscriptions to Soundi magazine.

The winners of the national music video competition will be announced at the Awards Gala, which takes place at RioLive on Saturday, 23 August. The gala will also honour the winner of OMVF’s first international contest, the OMVF Nordic Music Video Competition.

In the national competition, directors will be competing not only for prestige but also for the main prize, the Kultapumpeli, which includes a €3,001 gift card donated by Kinos Rentals. A promising talent will be awarded the Teen Pumpeli, sponsored by Toast, and outstanding post-production work will be recognised with a Valco product prize. Best cinematography will receive the Lens Pumpeli, along with an equipment rental voucher sponsored by Valofirma and Kamerafirma. In addition, the jury will award four honorary mentions to deserving directors.

A professional and independent jury will select the winners in the Finnish competition. This year’s jury consists of journalist and author Anton Vanha-Majamaa, Lisa Hoen, festival director of the Tromsø International Film Festival, and Mika Ronkainen, an award-winning music video director.

The Oulu Music Video Festival will take place from 21–24 August, as part of the Oulu August Festival. Ticket sales are now open and the full programme is available at: https://www.omvf.net.
