A total of 253 Finnish music videos were submitted to this year's national competition, from which 50 have been selected to the official competition. The programme is divided into five screenings named after both mythical and real lost cities.

Pripyat embraces heavy and industrial aesthetics, while Pompeii is filled with intertwined bodies and desire. Atlantis and Shangri-La invite audiences into worlds of myth, dreams and spirituality, whereas El Dorado shimmers with gold, glamour and the promise of new beginnings.

The festival's main award, the Golden Pumpeli, comes with a €3,001 gift voucher donated by Kinos Rentals. The Teen Pumpeli, accompanied by a prize from Toast, is presented to a promising emerging director. The Post Pumpeli, together with a product prize from Valco, honours outstanding post-production, while the Lens Pumpeli recognises the best cinematography with an equipment rental prize sponsored by Valofirma and Kamerafirma.

In addition, the jury will present four honorary mentions, and the winner of the audience vote will receive the Audience Pumpeli.

Jury consists of:

Kalle Kinnunen (b. 1977), Finnish journalist best known as the film critic of Suomen Kuvalehti magazine. He has written and edited several books on cinema and music. Kinnunen has worked as a programmer for Helsinki International Film Festival and Night Visions. In 2019, he became the first non-filmmaker in more than sixty years to receive the Finnish State Prize for Cinema. Shadowland (2024), which he co-wrote and produced, premiered at Beyond Fest in the United States.

James Mackay (b. 1954), a Scottish film producer and curator. He was Derek Jarman's longtime collaborator and produced several of the filmmaker's major works. Mackay has programmed for several film festivals including Berlinale and has served as a moving image consultant for Tate Modern and the LUMA Foundation. As one of the foremost custodians of Jarman's legacy, he edited Derek Jarman Super 8 (2014) and has curated numerous retrospectives of Jarman's work around the world.

Ida Karoskoski (b. 1991) , a Helsinki-based film producer and independent curator. She works as a producer at Wacky Tie Films. Before joining the company, Karoskoski worked as a freelance producer and archive researcher for several Finnish production companies specialising in non-fiction cinema. Her productions have screened at festivals including Rotterdam, Visions du Réel, Oberhausen and FIPADOC. Her work focuses on the intersections of cinema, contemporary art and artists' moving image, with a particular interest in documentary and experimental film.
