Sheila Johansson Master Class
After graduating from Beckman’s College of Design, Sheila Johansson started her career as a creative director. The Swedish-based director was recruited to work for the McCann advertising agency in New York. During her time in New York, she worked on campaigns for big companies. Her work in the industry has been acknowledged on multiple occasions.
After working as a creative director, Johansson decided to start exploring her passion for film. She ended up back in Stockholm, working as a director. In 2016 she was awarded with both best new director and best director trophies at the national Roy Gala. Johansson is the first woman to ever win either one of these awards. Her work has received numerous accolades and she has worked with big clients, such as Mercedes Benz and Bumble. Johansson has directed music videos for popular Swedish artists, such as Seinabo Sey, Silvana Imam and Maja Francis.
