Veli Kauppinen returns to the festival for the 12th time with his screening Velinen Sunnuntai!
"30 years is a long time. A lot of change can happen during that time, in the world as well as in people’s personal lives.. I want to congratulate OMVF for its 30th year! I’m raising a glass to OMVF, since the journey of the oldest music video festival in the world can’t have always been easy. My very own screening, Velinen Sunnuntai, will be held for the 12th time this year, if I remember correctly, so I feel like the father of a preteen. And what a great thing it is to be the 12 year old child of OMVF: not many parents are as cool, original, brave and fun! Seems like I wrote a birthday speech instead of a presentation text for my screening, but there isn’t much to say about this year’s Velinen sunnuntai: the show will be born out of panic in the train on the way to Oulu and its deadline is when people are already finding their seats in Valvesali."
Veli Kauppinen, radio personality of the year 2011 at Finnish Radio Gala, is present at the screening.
