Maajo is a rare tropical breeze from the cold north. The band draws inspiration from nature and wanderlust.

Musical explorations lead the listener from Tampere’s nature all the way to African soundscapes, from deep jungles to Finnish summers, sometimes nostalgic for past decades of life in the city. Mysticism, electronic and organic rhythms, etherealism, the sounds of nature, rarely heard languages and catchy melodies all take part in the unique music of Maajo.
