Queen Anniversary Screenings

Queen is the best rock band in the world and Freddie Mercury the best front man ever. OMVF celebrates the 40-year-long history of Queen and the memory of Mercury with two special screenings.

Music video art and also our festival owe a lot to Queen. Released in 1975, Bohemian Rhapsody pushed the record labels to make flicks for TV broadcasting instead of dull playback acts. Queen was also the first rock group to whom Music Television dedicated a whole weekend - yet excluding the video of Body Language, which was considered too carnal for video waves in 1982. Besides saying yes to nudity, we screen the Queen video hits from the first single to Mercury's last appearance on camera on this almost three-hours spectacle!
