The International Music Film Contest MusiXine celebrated the best films in tune in March 2011 first time as an individual festival. The main prize of the MusiXine Contest was caught by Polish Beats of Freedom that charmed both judges and audience with its rebellious message.The film observes the history of Polish pop culture, starting from the first protest songs to the victory of Solidarity movement and the fall of communism. Along with the captivating archive footage, the revolutionary musicians share their memories on how rock’n’roll made Polish history.
