Passion for pop fashion made Miikka Lommi one of the internationally acknowledged Finnish directors of all time. Lommi's work has won several industry awards including the MTVE Awards with his video Freestyler for the Finnish hip-hop act Bomfunk MC's. Besides his work with shorts and documentaries, Lommi has directed almost 100 music videos as well as commercial films for major brands like Diesel, Pepsi, Nissan and Nokia. His eloquent career includes also internationally recognized fashion and art films. Miikka Lommi's boundary-pushing work is edgy, experimental and freshly visual, which keeps him on the A-list of interesting Finnish directors for years to come. Lommi is present on Saturday's screening.
