OK Go (US) + support: The Orphan
Probably best known for their innovative music videos and catchy tunes, American indie rock band OK Go will perform at The Opening Party of Oulu Music Video Festival on August 25.
Founded in Chicago, OK Go broke through with their sophomore
album Oh No in 2005. The amazing one-shot treadmill video for
the
single Here
It Goes Again became a YouTube hit with over 50 million
viewers and the band was also awarded a Grammy later on. OK Go's latest
album Of
Blue Colour of the Sky was released in January, and the video for
the
single This
Too Shall Pass also became a YouTube hit with 6 million
views in only a week.
The tent will be warmed up by The Orphan, a Helsinki-based one-man-band.
