Barbie is a romantic comedy directed by Greta Gerwig, based on the iconic concept of the Barbie doll from Mattel toy company. The well-known and beloved character, who previously appeared mainly in animated films, finally comes to life! Although a taste of the real-life Barbie was already served up in 1997 in Aqua's Barbie Girl music video, thanks to Peder Pedersen, who is also visiting this year's festival. The film explores the fictional, utopian and bubblegum pink Barbie Land where everything seems to be perfect.
