"Hei! We believe we are the first married air guitar couple asked to curate a program in the history of the Carte Blanche music video selections for the Oulu Music Video Festival. The selections we have made are full of music videos that have made us laugh, dance or spark varying opinions on. Ranging from some of our first shared musical interests with each other, to newer memories gained as we approach 20 years together, each of these videos has helped define our relationship and our joy of performance. While we may be quirky and eclectic in our own right, the power of music and video will always be one of our strongest bonds. Nikki “Mom Jeans Jeanie” and Luke "Van Dammage" Sevcik, are married veteran competitive air guitarists with a shared love for spending time together in Oulu. They consider this to be an annual trip of culture, music, friendship and a way to explore Finland to share their hope for world peace.
