17th Oulu Music Video Festival brought to the silver screen a variety of video shows. Themes from modern internet phenomena to nostalgia of past decades rose from the videos this year. In addition, OK Go (US) performed in festival’s opening club at Juhlateltta and attended the Dagens Digi-seminar on Wednesday. Another international high-level live act, Addictive TV, got up to the stage in Time Tunnel. As Finnish head guest of the festival, M.A Numminen was celebrated for his 70th birthday.

In 2010, 13 500 festival visitors visited the Oulu Music Video Festival and Air Quitar World Championships in five festival days. Air Guitar visitors assembled to Torinranta in great numbers. Audience of approximately 8 000 people gathered for the 15th anniversary finals. Juhlateltta, which was set up to Lammassaari for the second time, worked as event site for 12 different events held by independent operators. Pilot model of Juhlateltta was a starting point for development of new collaboration organization of August events in Oulu.
