Oulu Music Video Festival welcomes all music videos made by Finnish directors for Finnish artists and bands to participate in the contest. The Music Video Contest focuses in the visual implementation of music. We see music video as a genre of its own, a form of a short film promoting music.

Kalle Kotila & Tomi Malakias), Lodger: Doorsteps (dir. Hannes Häyhä), Kemopetrol: Goodbye (dir. Miikka Lommi), Op:l Bastards: Scorpius (dir. Jon Sundell), Disco: Ilkeitä asioita (dir. Finn Andersson) and Nylon Beat: Syytön (dir. Pete Riski).
