Time Tunnel, the longest-living Finnish event for electronic music, celebrates its 15th Anniversary again at Oulu City Theatre. This year Time Tunnel takes over an even larger portion of the theatre premises, extending into Funky Bar at the glamorous theatre restaurant, into a sizzling hot b-eat-z club at the small stage lobby and into an awe inspiring main hall at the theatre practice hall. The headlining artists at Time Tunnel are Hexstatic (UK), known for their groundbreaking creativity, and Atomic Hooligan (UK) with their famously innovative electro-breakbeat sets.
Being a pioneer in the VJ culture, Hexstatic plays audiovisual sets that break the traditional boundaries of DJ sets combining electro, breakbeat, acid house and hip hop. The Time Tunnel audience is in for a treat as Robin Brunson of Hexstatic will perform a 90 minute digital Hexstatic - Audio Visual Live show, combining material from three different audio and visual sources.
The Atomic Hooligan duo, Matt Welch and Terry Ryan, have been involved in the breakbeat scene ever since the 1990s. Out of the duo, Oulu will see Ryan, known as a DJ and turntablist whose rocking sets mash together electro rhythms and guitarlike CD player performance.

DJ Kaasi orders the first house beats in the main hall. At the b-eat-z club DJs Erkko, Rico Tubbs and Jangler put the temperature through the roof. Erkko is known for his long deejaying career, and to Oulu he brings the atmosphere of his acclaimed MISF*T club, rocking combinations of indie, disco, electro and punk in his set. Rico Tubbs, a.k.a. Infekto has just released his booty-shaking album Knuckle Sandwich and is looking to throw a good party and make the tunnel audience sweat like never before. The Northern Finland's own, DJ Jangler, opens the night at the theatre lobby.
Funky Bar takes you on an ecstatic journey to black rhythm music, spinning it all off the original 7" singles: DJs Jyri-X and Yari treat the friends of rhythm music with soul, funk and old disco tracks.

The team has worked in the fields of music, video, film, and visual and media art, and they present a performance designed specifically for Time Tunnel. Superia United brings to the tunnel party a video performance that makes use of media culture imagery, narrow-film material and minimalistic animation - and adapts to the music
