The Silakka Clubs dished up new artists that left our musical taste buds tingling. The 2008 clubs served up a wide-ranging buffet of pop and rock acts that are rarely seen in Oulu.
To celebrate its 15th anniversary, OMVF also represented the glorious Festival Tent on the Lammassaari island, just by the city centre. The Festival Tent filled the dusky August evenings in a Fellini-like atmosphere.
Air Guitar World Championships was also rocked again for pure air and world peace on 20-22 August 2008. The competition grew serious in the world final on the festival Friday at the Oulu Marketplace. More info on the AGWC here!
